- Permits already increased 85% to 8,600 in 2010
- Permit increases are seen in both multifamily and single-family homes
- Existing home prices rose 4% in 2010
- Increased jobs in Raleigh lead to a lower unemployment rate, now at 8.4%
Raleigh also continues to uphold its reputation for affordability, with ample educational opportunities at several nationally ranked colleges and universities in the area.
