Nutcracker Returns this Christmas Season in Raleigh
This Christmas season, you and your family can experience the Carolina Ballet's classic rendition of Nutcracker at the Raleigh Memorial Auditorium. Live orchestra music, experienced performers, elaborate special effects, and dramatic costumes and sets will make this a memorable experience.
Nutcracker, based on E.T.A. Hoffman's "The Nutcracker and the King of Mice," tells the tale of a young girl who dreams of a Nutcracker Prince and his epic battle against an evil Mouse King. The Carolina Ballet's performance will be run by Artistic Director Robert Weiss.

The Progress Energy Center's Meymandi Concert Hall is home to the North Carolina Symphony. In addition to the Memorial Auditorium and Meymandi Concert Hall, the Center also offers performances in the Fletcher Opera Theater, Kennedy Theater, and on the Lichtin Plaza.
