Millions of Americans - Millions of Stories
Tell your story -- no story or sacrifice too small.......
In 1973 a tragic fire destroyed millions of service records of our service men and women.
You may have the only existing record of their service included with your records, travel orders, separation documents and other listings.
Please share your records with us and help restore the service history of those whose records were lost - as well as share your stories in an interview.
Wartime or peacetime veterans welcome, including Merchant Marines.

I think this is a great project that you and Penny are supporting. These memories can so easily be lost forever if they aren't preserved.
Wow! This is a great project and quite an undertaking...
Penny, I wasn't aware of the records loss, what a shame. What a great event, I hope there is a great turnout.
Chuck - Dave Milidonis is the driving force behind the Veteran's History Project, and has an amazing committment. We're proud to work with him and the NVHAI.
Michael - Please let any veterans you know about this, there is definitely a sense of urgency!
Debbie - It doesn't seem to be commonly known. But everytime someone brings their records, they have not only their own name and service record, but the names of the men and women who served with them and above them. Every record helps immensely. Do you know anyone who served and might be interested in helping?
