Hi Penny, great blog. I work for Fidelity Investments and am a recent relocatee. According to the information I received at the relocation orientation, Fidelity now employs about 3000 people in the Triangle. Anyway, not terribly important but I wanted to let you know. Keep up the great blogging!

I had no idea until I say 60 minutes about the amazing growth of Charlott (Bank America) and other N. Carolina cities like Raliegh
James - Yes, Raleigh has had significant growth for the past 10-15 years. What's even better is that the area DID NOT have the crazy appreciation rates of some other parts of the country - it's been slow and steady, and values are still holding.
